Tommy Leon McGill, age 77, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017. He retired from X-10, but was better known for coaching youth baseball at Rocky Hill Ball Park and being extremely active with the March of Dimes. He was a devoted husband for 43 years, loving Daddy and amazing Pa to his girls. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol and his parents. He is survived by daughter, LeAnn (Wally) Elmore, granddaughter Kelly (Justin Rhyne) Walls, great-granddaughters Kaelyn and Emma Rhyne, sister Margaret Davis, brothers and sisters-in-law Pam and Tommy Greene, Donna and Johnny Ballinger, and Warren Dalton, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10th, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Shanna Browning will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 11th, 2017 for an 11:00 a.m. interment service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
