Thomas (Tommy) Burton Linginfelter, of Knoxville, age 60 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 23, 2014. He was born in Knoxville, TN on April 9, 1954. He was a graduate of Rule High School 1972. He was a member of West Park Baptist Church and Knoxville Elks Lodge #160. He worked at Dalen Products for 20 years. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He loved spending time with his family and dining out with friends. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Willie Linginfelter and father-in-law Freddie Lee Hill. Survived by wife of 31 years, Donna Linginfelter; daughter and son-in-law Ashly and Bryan Stiner; sister Amanda (Gil) Baker; mother-in-law Margaret Hill; brothers-in-law Mark (Sheila) Hill, Richard (Jeni) Hill; sister-in-law Sherry (Dale) Webb; several nieces, nephews, and god children; lifelong friends Freddie (Sheila) Walker, Donnie Whaley, “second mom” Mary Walker. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Knoxville Elks Lodge #160 for East Tennessee Children’s Rehab, 5600 Lonas Dr. Knoxville, TN 37909. Service will be 8pm Friday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Pastor Michael Hawkins officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
