Thomas Richard Stapf

Thomas R. Stapf, 71, of Knoxville, peacefully passed away in his home on January 13, 2017. Thom, a Vietnam Navy Veteran, was born in New York on June 12, 1945. Thom is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Marguerite Stapf, and his brother, Kenny Stapf. He is survived by his two children, Kevin Stapf and Tracy Rees (Dan); his sisters, Pat Lyderson (Ken) and Claire Ganz (Fred), and his four grandchildren, Alex, Nate, Caitlyn, and Tommy. Receiving of friends will be Monday, January 23, 2017 from 6 PM – 8 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City, 2829 Rennoc Rd. A Veterans Graveside Ceremony will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy.
