Thomas Lee Miller

Thomas L. Miller, age 71, of Corryton, went to his heavenly home on December 22, 2023. Tom owned and operated Miller Bros. Auto Center for 50 years. He was a member Clear Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by beloved parents, Thomas and Mary Ann Miller; brother, Bob Miller; and sister, Martha Miller. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Shirlene Miller; aunt, Bessie; nephews, Greg (Sandy) Whitaker and son Matthew Whitaker; Terry (Doris) Whitaker, and Chris O’Baugh; niece Mandi Campbell; special care team, Paul Stanford, Becky Howell, Randall Medley, and Tom Donaldson. The family would like to express their grateful appreciation to the Thompson Cancer Center and Select Specialty Hospital at Tennova and the many friends that brought food and comfort during Tom’s sickness. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with service to follow at 7:00pm officiated by Rev. Jerry Vittatoe and Rev. Justin Pratt. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00am interment officiated by Rev. Jerry Vittatoe and Rev. Justin Pratt. Pallbearers include Greg Whitaker, Matthew Whitaker, Randall Medley, Wendall Connor, Glenn Medley, and Tom Donaldson. Honorary pallbearers include Paul Stanford, Terry Whitaker, and Mike McCarty.
