Thomas L. (“Scoot”) Graham, Jr., age 69 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2023.
Tom was a proud 1971 graduate of Carter High School, where he excelled in football. He accepted Christ as a teenager and was baptized at Broadway Baptist Church. He worked at the family business, Graham Studios, as a school photographer for many years, then as a shopping center property manager at Graham Corporation until his retirement. Tom had a great passion for fly fishing, travel, and snow skiing. Always considerate, he took time to get to know the people around him. Preceded in death by his father, Thomas Graham, Sr., and step-grandson Corbin Thomas. Survived by wife, Kathy D. Graham, children Jason Graham (Bethany) and Lori Rutter, mother Virginia Graham, sister Ginny (Ray) Shubert, brother Tim Graham, grandchildren Gavin and Beckett Graham, Rylee, Kaylee, and Henry Rutter, step-children Stephanie (Tony) Thomas and Kelley (Jay) Carr, and step-grandchildren Braden Thomas, Ansley and Emery Carr. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Avalon Hospice and Debra Tate for their love and care. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm with a service to follow on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Pastor Mark Kitts.
