Knoxville, TN – Thomas P. Elliott, 78, passed away on December 31, 2018 surrounded by family. He was visited often by so many friends who kindly knew him as Mr. Big. He was born on July 19, 1940 in Knoxville, TN, the son of Burl and Ruth Elliott.
Tom went to school in Knoxville at Rule High School. He was the Owner / Operator of All Out Carpet Cleaning for many years until his retirement. Tom was a devout Christian where he served the lord through several ministry programs.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Burl and Ruth Elliott and his son-in-law Scott Nicley. He will be missed by his wife, Margene Elliott, Sister Doris Elliott and brother Burl “Butch” Elliott, Jr. (Vineta). He had four loving children, Jeff Elliott, Karen Jarnigan (Jerome), Sonja Nicley (Scott) and Cindy Ludwig (Greg). Tom was also so loved by his 7 Grandchildren Sheena Reed (Justin), Scott Ludwig, Matthew Ludwig (Katie), Brittany Jones (Josh), Justin Jarnigan, Andrew Elliott and Amanda Elliott. Tom was also a proud Great Grandfather to Jaxton Reed and Nora Ludwig.
There will be not be a service, but a Memorial will be set up for him at Southside Baptist Church, Arnwine Chapel on Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at 2 PM. It is located at 1620 W. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920 for all who would like to pay their respects.
