Thomas (Tom) E. Sellers, age 66 went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, January 2, 2019 at his home. Tom was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He is a long time and faithful member of Northside Baptist Church holding the office of Trustee, he was a member of the Adult Men’s Sunday School Class, member of the Senior Saints Group. A member of a small men’s Bible Study group at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Tom is a member of the American Legion Post 2, and The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1560. Tom is a member of Carpenters Union Local 50. He was a Journeyman’s Carpenter for over 30 years. Preceded in death by his father William (Bill) Sellers, mother Cecil Sellers Cook, stepfather Bob Cook, dear niece Kathy Brown. Left to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 47 years Dianne Kinser Sellers, daughters and sons-in-law, Kristen (David) Stout, Jessica (Jeremy) Stewart, Tom’s heart his precious granddaughters Bailey Kaye and Lucy Abigail Stewart, sister and brother-in-law Billie Jean (David) Brown, sister-in-law Tammy (Bill) Singleton, many dear nieces, nephews, special cousins, and aunts Willie Cobb and Faye Oglesby of Texas, special friends, Perry Roberts, Charlie Grizzle, Steve French, Ken Hilland, Brian Taft, Bob Morris, and so many, many more. Tom was a very loving and caring man to all and will be sadly missed. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 6:00-8:00pm at Northside Baptist Church (201 Bernard Ave. Knoxville, TN 37917). Services will follow at 8:00pm with Pastor Joshua Sharp officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel and proceed to East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for an 11:30am interment.
