Thomas David Price

Thomas David Price, age 63 of Powell passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in his new home. David was born June 28, 1958, in Blount County. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nellie Morrow Price; sister, Donna Moody. David leaves behind his children Teresa Howard (Jason), Lisa Nicholson (Jason), David Price (Dana Scherer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Hoyle Price and Terry Price; and he will be greatly missed by his dog Lacey. David was loved so much by the Powell community. He had recently obtained housing for him and his dog Lacey thanks to the compassion and generosity of the Facebook Group " I LOVE POWELL!". The group not only checked on David on a regular basis but worked hard to get him off the streets and stock the apartment they had moved him into. A receiving of friends for David will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, 4131 E. Emory Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37938, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM officiated by Rev. Denna Hornby of Powell Church and Life Celebrant Robert Rutherford.
