Thelma R. Sherrod

Thelma R. Lowery Sherrod, age 80 of Blaine, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was of the Baptist faith. Thelma was a former CNA at Saint Mary's Hospital in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her father Roy Lowery, mother, Zella Lowery and daughter-in-law, Linda Sherrod. She is survived by her son Phil Sherrod (Jennifer Sherrod), daughters: Penny Cole (Keith Russell) and Pam Stalsworth (Donnie Kitts); grandchildren: Johnny Sherrod (Deana), Margaret Cole and Justin Stalsworth (Kelly); great-grandchildren: Kaylie Boggs (Hunter), Andrew Sherrod (Ariel) and Landen and Lyn Sherrod; special great-great grandbaby, McKinley Boggs, along with many special friends. The family would like to thank Margaret Cole, the nurses and staff at Fort Sanders Hospital and the nurses and staff at Jefferson Park at Dandridge. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Roseberry Cemetery. Everyone is asked to assemble at the cemetery by 12:45 pm.
