Thelma Elizabeth Neff Bailey

Our Loving mother, Thelma Elizabeth Neff Bailey “Granny”, age 90, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on September 20, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Ruth Neff of Knoxville, TN, her late husband of 66 years, Earl Bailey, brother Bob Neff, and sisters Maxine Tipton and Dorothy Ridenour. Survived by special sister Juanita Webb; children Gary, Kathy, and Lisa Bailey, grandchildren; Lorrie, Gina, Greg, Sherry, Elisabeth, Victoria, Christina, and Josiah; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great-granddaughter. She loved her family and demonstrated an amazing example of a Christian Mother. She loved spending time with her family, helping others, and crocheting. Her motto was “There’s good in everyone.” The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday September 24, 2019, at Beaverdale Baptist Church 1701 Cunningham Road Knoxville, TN 37918. A Celebration of Life will follow Rev. Randy Webb Officiating.
