Terry Lynn Cate

Terry Lynn Cate, 73 of Powell, TN passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2022. Terry was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. Retired from the construction division of TVA. Terry loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, if he wasn’t riding his motorcycle he was reading about or working on them, or shopping to buy another one. May he ride his Hog all the way into Heaven’s gate. Terry is preceded in death by beloved mother Ruth Cate and brother Larry Cate. Survived by loving father Charles Cate, siblings; Joel Cate (Lisa), Teresa Brown (Sam), Brett Cate (Janet), Regina Key (Bob) Mara Martin (Greg Hargis), nieces and nephews; Doug McCloud, Adam Cate, Ryan Key, Catelyn Gantte, Bayley Cate, Christian Cate, Fendi Martin, Vincent Martin and many wonderful friends. A private service honoring Terry will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family ask you make a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
