Terry C. Smith

Terry Cadar Smith, born September 29, 1953, a dedicated husband, father of two, and friend of many passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at UT Medical Center. An alumni of both the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and East Tennessee State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Terry was the Chief Financial Officer of AAA East Tennessee for 32 years and also served on the board of directors of the Better Business Bureau. Preceded in death by his parents, Cadar Oscar Smith and Mary Elizabeth Smith. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 38 Years, Donna Ann Smith; sons, Dirk Cadar Smith and wife, Hallie Smith and Cody Ty Smith and wife, Brandy Cruz, grandson, Leo Cadar-Bryan Smith. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 30th from 5:00-7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. An Orange and White Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 pm with Robert S. Rutherford, Life Celebrant officiating with eulogies by Tim Wright and Don Lindsey. The family welcomes everyone attending to wear UT colors and or gameday apparel.
