Teresa Leigh Brooks

Teresa Leigh Andes Brooks, age 68, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025.  She was of Baptist faith.  She loved reading books, collecting magnets, and loving and praying for her children.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jackie Wayne Brooks; her mother Emma Andes; her father, Julian Andes, her brothers Thomas Robeson and Richard Andes; and by her sister, Jean Cebik.

Teresa is survived by her children, David Brooks (Paige), Derek Brooks, John Thomas Brooks, Jackie Brooks (Leah), and Jennifer Graham (Joe); sister, Betsy Andes;  4 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.  

Family and friends will meet at Asbury Cemetery at 10:45 AM on Thursday, April 17, 2025, for an 11:00AM graveside service.
