Teresa Lynn Brewer

Teresa Lynn Brewer, age 66, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on June 6th, 2024, in her hometown from complications of liver disease. Born July 10th, 1957, Teresa was the 7th child to Ruby Emma Lee Moore and Theodore Moore. She married the love of her life, Mickey Charles Brewer on April 7th, 1984. She was a supporting military spouse while they served and had two boys, Matthew Millsaps-Brewer (born 1986) and Christopher Universe (born 1992). She was a member of Faithway Baptist Church. She loved her family, above all, her faith, and was a kind soul to all. She is survived by her husband, her two sons, her grandson, Jaxon Millsaps-Brewer (born 2016); and her 6 sisters, brother, and many loved ones. The family will receive friends and family at Mynatt’s Halls Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, June 10th, from 5-7pm and funeral service to follow at 4131 E Emory Road in Knoxville, TN. She will be placed to rest on Thursday, June 13th at 8:30 am at East TN State Veterans Cemetery at 2200 E Governor John Sevier Highway 168 in Knoxville. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations from the American Liver Foundation.
