Sylvia Marie Weaver

Sylvia Marie Weaver, age 84 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 19th. Sylvia was a member of First Baptist of Fountain City. She was a volunteer director of the American Red Cross for over 10 years. She loved gardening and singing and playing the piano for her church choir. Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband, Gillmore Weaver; parents, Frank and Aree Gardner; and brothers, Kenneth and Norman Gardner. Sylvia is survived by her son, Michael (Suzette) Weaver; Grandchildren, Alyah, Nathan, Rachael, Kailah, Benjamin and Ariellah Weaver; half-brothers, Phil and Rusty Capps; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery Thursday, Decemeber 23, 2021 at 2:45pm for a 3:00pm graveside service, officiated by Pastor John T.
