Sylvia Haynes Tidwell

Sylvia Haynes Tidwell, age 77, received her heavenly reward on February 19th 2021. Sylvia was a wonderful wife, mom, and nana. She believed in the word of God and devoted herself to serving Jesus. She loved to travel, having been to Spain, Dubai, and India for mission work. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Gary Tidwell and sister Carolyn. She is survived by her two sons, Jay Thomas and Scott Tidwell and his wife Tracia, her two grandsons, Noah Tidwell and Luke Tidwell, as well as, her sister Delores and brother Randy. Friends may call at their convenience 10:00am-6:00pm Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, 4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938. Family and friends will meet 12:45pm Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918 for a 1:00pm graveside service, Brother John Wilkerson of Northwest Church of God will be presiding along with Brother Lee Murphy of Dante Baptist Church.
