Susan Valerie Tallent

Susan Valerie Bradford Tallent departed this life for her heavenly home on Monday, June 4, 2018. Susan was born in Nashville but grew up in Knoxville and was a 1982 graduate of Farragut High School. Susan was employed at Budget Rentals for 20 years. After leaving Budget she was her fathers caregiver and started Guardian Pet Sitting until becoming ill. She loved all her furry friends and missed them dearly. Although she suffered for many years she never complained and remained rooted in the Word and never lost her faith in the Lord or her beliefs. When Susan attended church, she was a youth leader at Mt. Hermon UMC and never forgot any of the children who attended. All of you touched her life as much as I hope she touched yours. Susan was preceded in death by grandfather James C. Bradford; parents James and Kathy Bradford; brothers Rick and Alan Bradford. Susan is survived by most faithful companion Buster Brown Dog; husband Robert Tallent; sisters-in-law Brenda and Lisa Bradford; niece Kim Bradford; nephews Austin and Joseph Bradford; and very special prayer sister Tina Verret. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Funeral service to follow with Rev. Gregg Bostick officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Mt. Hermon UMC Cemetery (on Copeland Drive in Powell) at 10:45am for an 11:00am graveside service.
