Susan Marie Koontz

Susan Marie Koontz, age 59, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Sunday March 5, 2017. She was a member of Safe Harbor Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by husband Tommy Lamb; parents Dewey and Mary Ellis Koontz; siblings Carl Koontz, Rosetta Koontz, and Linda Pugh; grandmother Beulah Howard; best friend Linda Rouse. Survived by daughters Jennifer (Bryan) Hutchison and Michelle (Anthony) Wooliver; grandchildren, Kayla, Parker, and Taner Hutchison and Andrew, Kayla, Nicholas, Christopher, Nate, and Abagail Scharff; great-grandchild, Easton Fielden-Scharff; siblings Curtis Koontz, Shirley (Michael) Day, and Kenny Koontz; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Ronnie Dodson will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. interment service on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 at Cates Baldwin Cemetery, Baldwin Cates Road, New Market, TN.
