Susan Jeanette Cooper, age 63 of Knoxville, passed away February 10, 2021. She attended Halls High School and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Susan was the glue of her family and the person everyone relied on. Her family meant everything to her. Preceded in death by parents Bill and Doris Stanford; sisters Debra Jean Wyrick and Karen Gayle Phillips. Survived by husband of 46 years Edward Cooper; sons Allen (Kristi) Cooper and Steven Cooper; grandchildren Hunter, Will, Kylie, Karlie, Kassidy, and Haven Cooper; brothers Darrahl and Bryan Stanford; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at their convenience 10:00am-5:00pm Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family will then receive friends 5:00-7:00pm with service to follow at 7:00pm, Pastor Mark Large officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15am Monday, February 22, 2021, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for a 10:30am committal service.
