Steven Michael Rogers

Steven Michael Rogers, age 71, of Corryton, TN, died peacefully Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Steve was of the Baptist Faith and attended Clear Springs Baptist Church. Steve was an avid fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tilda B. Tapp Rogers on August 13, 1990 and Asie V. Rogers on February 5, 2019. Steve is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Linda G.  Rogers and Teddy Lister; brother and sister-in-law, Terry J. Rogers and Becky Rogers; aunt, Edna West; four nieces, two nephews, seven great-nieces, fourteen great nephews, two great-great nieces and three great-great nephews; Special friends, Steve Mynatt, Charles McMahan, Paul Rutherford, Terry Tindell, and Tom Hackney. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM. Reverend Adam Lutts officiating. Family and friends will meet by 1:45 PM Sunday, November 10, 2024, at New Beginnings Cemetery (Old Clear Springs) for a 2:00 PM interment service.
