Steven Myers was born on January 16th, 1966 in Knoxville TN. Boots Myers was very well known for many skills and talents, but his passions and strengths were born through the power of Music and Scripture. He was a singer, songwriter, and drummer for the Emmanuels beginning at age 6, and named as the best drummer in Knoxville at age 8. He wrote, produced, sang, and played, throughout his whole life. His studies with The Word and his relationship with Christ was immense and everlasting until his very last breath.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father Peggy Anne Caldwell and James Paul Myers Jr., grandparents Quentin and Lena Caldwell, and several aunts and cousins.
He is survived by his daughters Emilee Jordann Ball, Stephanie Marie Myers, Lillie Beth Myers, special niece Destiny Hope Williams; grandchildren Jayden Alexander Atchley, Max Anthony Mount, and a special little angel on the way; brother Ricky (Teresa) Grubb; his sisters Shelby (Crendel) Wees and Casie (Jeff) Waters; special sister Tamiko Williams and Aunt Bea Cox; along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, from 6:00pm-7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00pm, Rev Jim Hensley officiating. Online condolences can be let at www.mynattfh.com.
