Steven "Jay" Widner

Widner, Steven “Jay”, 59 of Corryton went home to be with his Lord Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Turkey Creek Medical Center. He was a member of Emory Valley Baptist Church in Knoxville and a member of Corryton Lodge #321 F&AM. Jay loved to collect ‘junk’ and loved to tinker with all the treasures he collected. His family was the nearest to his heart. Time spent with them made him very happy. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He already is…Jay was preceded in death by his parents as well as his mother and father-in-law. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Sara Widner; daughter, LeeAnn O’Dell and husband Doug and grandchildren Major, Mallie, Moses, and Mack; and daughter Bea Longley and husband Neal; sisters, Jenny Smith and husband Tom, Lynn Frye, Joy Walker and husband Jude, Patti West and husband Rick, and Dawn Widner. Additional survivors include all of his special friends who assisted him in his junk collecting. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 PM Friday, January 13, 2017 at Emory Valley Baptist Church, 6124 Emory Road Knoxville, TN 37938.
