Steven Julian Hackney

Steven Julian Hackney, age 65, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. He was born on March 12, 1959 to the late Julian and Louise (Reed) Hackney. 

Steven graduated from Powell High School, Class of 1978.  He worked as a master mechanic for over 40 years at Mazda and Infiniti. He loved to hunt, fish, and ride motorcycles. Steven was also a member of Heiskell United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Rhonda (Day) Hackney and his parents, Julian and Louise Hackney.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Daisy Knox; sons, Eli Hackney (Ashley) and Boone Hackney (Samantha); grandchildren, Lainey Knox; Caleb, Parker, and Izabelle Hackney; Ella Kate and Clara Beth Hackney; brother, Mark Hackney (Susan); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
