Steven Castleberry

February 25, 1949 — March 2, 2017

Steven Castleberry, age 68, of Knoxville, passed away March 2, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a graduate of Karns High School and a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. He retired from TVA after 31 years of service. He also served as a sports official at the high school and college level. Preceded in death by parents, Dorothy and Eugene Castleberry; sister, Debra Castleberry. Left to cherish his memory are wife of 45 years, Treva Castleberry; son, Chris Castleberry and wife, Betsy; daughter, Nicole Morrell and husband Glen; grandchildren, Rhea, Max, Sammie, Anna Lee and Nick. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Clear Springs Baptist Church, 7350 Tazewell Pike, Corryton, TN, 37721. Family and friends will meet 9:15AM Tuesday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Hwy.) for interment service. Family will receive friends 4-7PM Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7PM, Rev. Jerry Vittatoe officiating.
