Stephen Jacob Cooper

Stephen Jacob Cooper, age 28, of Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 7, 2024. He was a huge Alabama fan and enjoyed fishing. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, April Darlene Cooper; brother, Jason Stout; great-grandparents, Jean Bussell, Walter Bussell, and Howard Cooper; aunts: Debbie Bussell, Connie Foust, Patsy Carter, and Brenda Webb; uncle, Griff Webb; as well as great aunts and uncles, Everett Cooper, Jim and Linda Lee, Wilma Thurman, Howard, Richard, and Charles Moore.

He is survived by his father, Jeff Stout; grandparents, Evan Cooper and Wilma Roach; great-grandmother, Betty Cooper; great uncles, Gary Cooper, Charles Bowling, and Jeff Foust; cousins, Richard Cooper, Charity Cole, Ronnie Cole, Danielle Bowling, and Heaven Foust.

The family will receive friends 5-7pm on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7pm, officiated by Rev. Bob and Toma Corum. Family and friends will meet at 12:45pm on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at Bells Campground Cemetery, for a 1pm interment.
