Stella M. (Grubb) Dingus passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Born in Roda, Virginia, Stella grew up in Cadet and lived in Big Stone Gap, Virginia for most of her life before moving to Tennessee. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Sunnyview Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Grubb; son, Roy L. Dingus; granddaughter, Misty Tate; sisters, Opal (Sis) Phillips, Minnie (Doll) Underwood, and Elva (Tootsie) Neely; brothers, Ed, Robert, Roy, J.C., James and Thomas Grubb.
She will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Brad Knauss; granddaughter, Brooke Dingus; grandsons, Larry Dwayne Grubb and Devin Dingus; sister-in-law, Nita Grubb; nieces, Teresa Whited, Mary Grubb, Loretta Fields and Angela Clendenon; nephews, Buddy, Donny, Jeff and Thomas Ray Grubb; special granddaughter, Mackln Winstead; special cousin, Geneva Bush and a very special lifelong friend Magdalene Stipe.
A receiving of friends for Stella will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel following the visitation will be a procession to Anderson-Gouffon Cemetery for a graveside service with Robert S. Rutherford, Life Celebrant officiating.
