Starr Hutchison

Starr Hutchison, age 54, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2016. She was a member of Smithwood Baptist Church since 2001. She worked at DeRoyal Industries for 17 years. Starr lived for her family, especially enjoying being “Mamaw” to Mason. Preceded in death by parents, Sewell and Gencie Upton. Survived by husband, William Allen Hutchison; daughters, Allison McCarter and husband Matthew, Emily Walters and husband Arthur; grandson, Mason McCarter; brothers, Hobart (Lela) Upton, John (Anne) Upton, Mark (Sharon) Upton, Charles Upton, Owen (Amy) Upton; sisters, Ruby (Terry) Overton, Susie (Sam) Cardwell, Stella (Mike) Johnson, Kay (Greg) Pierce; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Smithwood Baptist Church, with memorial service to follow, Dr. Mark E. Gaskins officiating.
