Shirley Meyers Jones

Shirley Meyers Jones age 81, of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. She was of the Christian faith. Shirley loved to dance, eat at her favorite restaurants, go on cruises, and travel. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Jones, parents, Charlie and Velva Meyers, and siblings: Ray Meyers, Dale “Shortie” Meyers and Janice Johnson. Shirley is survived by her children: Carla (Eddie) Smith and Gregg (Jamie) Jones, grandchildren: Jake Smith, Colby (Natalie) Jones, and Dallan (Ashley) Ellis; and great-grandchildren: Easton, Layton, Oakley and Bexley. The family would like to especially thank both niece, Lisa Collier and special friend, Ruthie Burner, both nurses, for all their love, care and support to Shirley. 

Family and friends will meet Monday, February 24, 2025, at 1:45 pm at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for a 2:00 pm graveside service, officiated by Reverend Ron Mouser.
