Shirley F. Savage (Sharp) Perry, age 73 of Knoxville, through the salvation of Christ and the blood that was applied, she went to be with Jesus October 11, 2016 at U.T. Medical Center at 11:01 am. She was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church in Rossville, Ga. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Preceded in death by, parents, Conley C. and LuSinda Savage, grandparents, John and Nina Tharp and Herman and Ollie Savage, step-mother, Bertha Savage, grandson, Dale Monroe Lambert and step-sisters, Joann Miller and Louise Coleman. Survivors, husband, Fred Perry, daughter, Lynell (Michael) Lambert, son Eugene (Amy) Sharp, step-daughters, Sherry (Kenny) Wilson, Vickie (Jerry) Landon, step-sons, Bobby Perry, Danny (Sheila) Perry, sister, Alene (Wolfgang) Raeder, brothers, Glen (Delores) Savage, and Troy Savage, 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Helping Hands Home Care, Katina with Blue Cross Blue Shield Choices, Dr. Saresh and Dr. Grandas for their gentle care and to the staff of the 5th, 6th and 12th floors of the U.T. Medical Center and Mrs. Connie from the 5th floor. Funeral service 7 pm Thursday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Clifford Fraker and Rev. Ronnie Wynn officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Pleasant View Cemetery for interment service at 11 am. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
