Shellie Elizabeth “Beth” McCarty, age 51 of Knoxville, passed away on December 14, 2024.
Beth attended Rush Strong Elementary, Carter High School, and graduated from Bearden High School and Pellissippi State Community College. Beth will always be remembered for the pride and immense love she had for her son, Aaron, and her two beautiful granddaughters, Suede and Sonder. Beth was a beautiful young woman. Her smile, outgoing personality, and love for her family will always be remembered.
She is leaving behind the broken hearts of many loved ones who will always have sweet memories to remember her by. Survived by her son, Aaron Corum, beautiful granddaughters, Suede and Sonder Corum. Loving devoted mother and step father, Judy and Jim “Butch” Weaver; special loving sister, Rebecca McCarty; siblings, Stacie (Steve) Hall, Megan and Bradley; father, Omar McCarty; loving aunts and uncles, Kay Cloninger Kirby, Jean Cloninger Baldwin, Janet Cloninger Rivera, Vickie Higgins, Jimmy Cloninger, and George Cloninger; special and much loved cousins, Cindy Maples (Fosey) Abid, Joy Kirby (Shane) Gregg, Adam (Heather) Kirby, Kevin Maples, Kelly, Kim, and Kendra; nieces and nephews, Alex Eldridge (Sam and Myla), Morgan McCarty, Connor Proffitt, Parker Hall, Peyton Hall, as well as many other family members.
A special thank you to Adam and Jeni Corum for all of their help and support. Rest in Peace beautiful Beth we love you and will miss you forever.
