Shelby C. Hines, age 67, passed away Friday, September 03, 2021, Billy Ray Hines, age 82, Passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021. Shelby and Bill were married for forty years and were inseparable. Shelby worked for Express Courier and Bill was retired from Iron Mountain. Bill was U.S. Navy Veteran. If you saw one of them, you always found the other one, they were each other’s sweet hearts. Shelby was preceded in death by her parents; Jamia Smith Cates and Junior Cates. Brother; Glenn Kirby, Bill was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph C. and Mary Tindell Hines, Sisters; Connie Spoon, Eva Cash, Brothers; Kenneth, Joe, and Tommy Hines. Special Aunt Eva L. Hines. Bill's best friend Ben VanWinkle. Survivors; Daughter and son-in-law; Kristy and Chris Chandler. Grandchildren; Haley Bradley, Benjamin, Austin, and Lazarus Chandler. Izabella Pratt and Emma and Nevaeh Ricketts Shelby. Brother; Jimmy Kirby Bills, Sisters; Carolyn Boatman, Brother; Bobby Hines, Shelby and Bill, Niece who was like a daughter; Kim Halloun, Special nieces and nephews Johnnie Ellison, Trish Heins Jones, Michelle Robinson, and several other nieces and nephews. Special friend who was like a daughter, Rachel Russell and her husband, Arthur Chandler. Special friends of Shelby; Kaye McCurry, Betty Hitchcock, Brad McGhee and Roxanne Stora. Special friends of Bill, Lonnie Cagle, Vernon Chandler, Kyle Vandergriff, Harold and Gary, and everyone at Alice’s Diner. The family will receive friends 3:00-5:00pm Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. There will be a private interment.
