Shelba Jean Stooksbury

Shelba Jean Stooksbury, 81, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2022. Preceded in death by parents, Rex and Flora Mae Foust, and son, Eric Stooksbury. Survived by her husband of 63 years, Glenn Stooksbury; sister, Linda Mantooth; daughter, LeAnn Stooksbury; granddaughter, Beth (Jonathan) Tharpe; grandson, Justin (MeaKayla) Stooksbury; great-grandchildren, Abby and Aubree Tharpe, and Greyson Stooksbury; nephew, Lucas Mantooth; special friends Leann Berry, Linda Albright, Gail Coppock, and Kathalene Hurst. Shelba was a longtime member of Texas Valley Baptist Church. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with a service to follow at 7:00 pm. Reverend Jonathan Tharpe and Pastor Bill McCarter to officiate. Pallbearers will be Justin Stooksbury, Ronnie Stooksbury, Lucas Mantooth, Jeff Chesney, Vic Cox, and Brad Letner, with Bill Brock and Danny Cox serving as Honorary Pallbearers. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Texas Valley Baptist Church Cemetery for a 2:00 pm interment.
