Sharon Jean Lundin

January 15, 1949 — April 10, 2020

Sharon Crowder Lundin, age 71, of Knoxville died in hospital care on Friday, April 10, 2020. Sharon was an avid music aficionado and often immersed herself in the rich sounds on many genres, ranging from folk, rock, metal, and hip hop. She was often found filling her home with the eclectic sounds; it was never too loud, and she was never too old. Sharon was a lifelong political activist. As a past president of the Knoxville chapter of the National Organization for Women, she both organized and participated in multiple protests and demonstrations. She had a tireless energy to enact indelible change in the world and never stopped speaking the truth to power. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Gertrude Crowder and two sons, Jed Crowder Lundin and David Wayne Crowder. She is survived by her husband, Joe Starr Lundin, son Shawn Starr Lundin, and best friend Rhiannon Rene Nelson. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
