Scot Andrew Hurst

Scot Andrew Hurst, age 36 of Knoxville, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a 2006 graduate of Halls High School and a member of Black Oak Ridge Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a loving son. Preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Wilma Hurst and Horace and Helen Tutterow, and uncle Charles Hurst. Survived by parents, James and Roberta Hurst, brother, David (Crissy) Hurst, and aunt, Linda Tutterow. Family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 pm Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with service to follow at 3:00 pm. Reverend Gary Capps and Reverend Brent Turmire will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 pm Monday, September 9, 2024, for a 1:00 pm interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
