Sarah Jane Williams

Sarah Hodge Williams "Mamaw Whistle" age 86, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 after a very brief illness. She worked for Allergy & Asthma Sinus Center (North Office) for almost 70 years. Preceded in death by husband Jack C. Williams, parents Bernie and Carrie Hodge, and brother Robert Hodge. Survived by daughter Carol Shultz (Gary), grandchildren Cassidy, Tommy, and Jeffy, great-grandchildren Jaycee, Lynsey, Emily, J.D., special niece Donna Gibson, and her little dog Jack Zipper. The family would like to extend a special thank you to UT Nurses and staff, special friends Kristi, Sabrina, RMO, and Betty. Family will receive friends 4:00-6:00pm Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow at 6:00pm. Family and friends will meet 12:45pm Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 1:00pm interment. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Union County Humane Society.
