Sandra Waggoner

Sandra L. Waggoner, age 65, of Knoxville, TN passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from a short battle with cancer. Sandy will be remembered as a very kind and loving mother, grandmother and sister. Sandy was always sweet to everyone she came in contact with. She loved bowling, playing cards, going to Dollywood with family and friends and working in her beautiful flowers. Sandy was retired from Melaleuca. Sandy is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Seaborn Waggoner; parents Clifford and Eva May. She is survived by daughter Lora (Chris) Atkins; step-son Todd (Karen) Taylor; step-daughter Diane (John) Teffeteller; grandsons Timothy (Kendal) Atkins, Bradley Atkins; granddaughter, Sarah Munsey; 11 step-grandchildren; great-granddaughter Brinnley Munsey; 19 step-great grandchildren; brothers Roy (Susan) May, Donnie May; sisters Vickie (Mark) Gayle, Angie (Kent) Burkhart. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral service to follow with Rev. Ralph Waggoner officiating. The family will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:45am for an 11:00am graveside service. Those serving as pallbearers are: Timothy Atkins, Chris Atkins, Roy May, Bradley Atkins, Todd Taylor and Kent Burkhart. A special thanks to Tennova Hospice for their wonderful care and also a thank you to Karen Taylor for the sacrifice you made to help care for Sandy and the family.
