Sandra M. Reilly, affectionately known as Sandy, was born on October 6, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio. She passed away very suddenly on September 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Sandy spent her final years in Clinton, Tennessee, where she cherished the beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the warmth of her family.
Sandy was a devoted mother to her daughters, Kathleen and Kristina, and a doting grandmother to Kourtney, Karina, and great-grandson Kristopher. Her family was her pride and joy, and she found immense fulfillment in being there for them, always ready with a warm smile and a helping hand. She enjoyed laughter, often sharing her favorite quotes, including a lighthearted, "I could eat," that reflected her love for food, particularly pasta, pizza, steak, and sweets. An avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast, Sandy also loved to bask in the sunshine and had a special affection for all animals. Her musical tastes ranged from the Beach Boys to Dolly Parton, and she found enjoyment in her favorite TV shows, including NCIS and Criminal Minds. A dedicated supporter of sports, she cheered for the University of Tennessee Vols and Ohio State football teams.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Marie Estergall and Earl Crack, and brothers, Henry A. Pugh and John W. Patterson and wife Jill, and Daughter Kathleen Reilly.
Survived by her Daughter Kristina (Jeremy) and Granddaughters Kourtney and Karina and Great-Grandson Kristopher. Sister, Dianne J. (Gary) Sopnicar and brother Daniel J (Sandra) Pugh, along with many nieces and nephews. She was deeply loved by special family friends Rita Brown and Sharon Slatzer. Throughout her life, Sandy traveled to beautiful places such as the Bahamas and the U.S. Virgin Islands, but her heart always returned to her family and the mountains she adored. Her kindness, caring nature, and unwavering faith as a Christian touched everyone she met, making her a dependable friend and a cherished family member. Sandy leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and joy, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
