Sandra Faye Young

Sandra Young, age 68, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, October 18th, 2017. Member of Bon View Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, and friend. She had the gift of cheerful giving. Anyone that was ever around her knew what unconditional love felt like. She was preceded in death by parents Hugh and Mae Taylor, in-law's Bill and Louise Young. Siblings Jack, Stephen, Sherman, and Della. Survived by her husband of 50 years Edward Young Sr. Children Eddie (Kim) Young and Joey (Marie) Young. Grandchildren Kayla, Megan, Andrew, Shawn, Dalacie, Arianna, and Josie. Great grandchildren Braydin, Skyler, and Dawson. Siblings Dorothy Hickle, Betty (Bob) Burnham, Edna (Greg) Heirs, Lois Norris, Mildred (Tommy) Garrison, Louis (Jackie) Taylor, Lonnie Taylor, Gary (Jo Netta) Taylor. Sister In law's Carolyn and Janie. Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 22th, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow, with preacher Harvey Harmon officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. committal service at Greenwood Cemetery, on Monday October 23rd, 2017.
