Samuel Jacob Raggio

Jacob ‘Jake’ Raggio, 35, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 19th, 2021 at his home in Powell, TN due to natural causes. He is predeceased by his beloved father Herb Raggio. Jake is survived by his fiancé Marion Latore, his mother Susan Raggio, his step father Richard Hughes and his sisters Hannah Duffy, Gina McNelly and Jill Raggio along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his God family Lucy and Bill Shewmake, Danny Joe Potts, Emerson, Cierra and Doscher Shewmake and his dear friend, Braxton Koontz. Jake’s kindness was both contagious and inspirational for the people who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether you knew him for years or for days, his words and actions impacted you. He was unforgettable, a genuine friend, hard working, a talented and passionate musician, integrous, pleasing to God. He could make you laugh in an instant or sit with you in your darkest moment. He loved fully, felt deeply, lived without regret, listened intently, cared genuinely, sang passionately and worked tirelessly. Text alone cannot fully express the gift of Jacob’s warm and loving spirit. Though he is absent from the body, his memory lives on with those who knew him around the world. Receiving of friends will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, with memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, 2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918.
