Sammy O'Brian Scott

Sammy O'Brian Scott, age 31, got his wings Aug. 7th at 1:53 pm. He was preceded in heaven by his beloved grandparents, Bobby and Diane Scott and Jim and Arvetta Burkhalter. He is survived by his loving mother Tammy Scott and Lee Ann Adams. His stepfather, Arlie Sherlin and father, Brian Burkhalter. Girlfriend, Janie McHaffie. His siblings, Karissa Chamberlain, Jacob Hellard, Bodie and Brian Burkhalter. Great-Uncle Deany and Renée Adams. Special Uncles and aunts, Robert and Pam Scott, Michael Scott, Angela and Buddy Ellis, Paula Smith, and Travis and Jennifer Burkhalter. Special cousins, Jessie and Brittany Ellis, Keylee Gibbons, Tommy Scott, Craig Wrather and Robert Scott. Many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Many other friends and family. To know Sammy was to love him and he touched many more lives than we can list.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 5:00 pm until time of memorial service at 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral, Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, at 12:45 pm to go in procession to Marble Hill Cemetery for a 2:00 pm graveside service.
