Ruth M. Cooper

Ruth M. Cooper, age 94, of Knoxville, went to Heaven with Jesus on October, 6, 2021. She was a member of Emory Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Carson C. Cooper; son, David L. Cooper; parents, Charlie and Lucy Rouse; sister, Mildred Hall; brother, Bill Rouse. Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Shoffner and Elaine Parker; grandchildren, Glenn and Kent Shoffner, Elaina Ragan, and Nathan Parker; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one nephew; two nieces. Family will receive friends on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 5:00pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Richard Niceley officiating. Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Ft. Sumter Cemetery at 10:45am for a 11:00am graveside service. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Emory Valley Baptist Church.
