Ruth Ann Barto

Ruth Ann Barto, age 83, of Knoxville passed away January 15, 2016. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Fountain City and graduate of Knoxville High School. She was retired from Blue Drugstore as a cashier. She was member of the Eastern Star and a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Barto Sr.; parents, Leroy & Lydia Waddell; seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include her step-sons, Loren “Sonny”Barto Jr., and David Barto, of Chattanooga; sister, Lucille Moncy; brother, Fred Z. Waddell Sr; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 1:45pm Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery for a 2pm graveside service.
