Russell “Rusty” Troutman, age 57, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side as he entered the gates of Heaven, on December 17, 2020. He was the owner and operator of Troutman’s Hot Rod Shop, where he restored antique and classic cars. Rusty holds many awards for his craftsmanship. He was also an avid dart and corn hole player, who also loved spending time with friends and family and enjoyed riding his Harley.
He is preceded in death by his father Russell Troutman.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Melissa Troutman, son Dustin Troutman, daughter Kala Troutman, grandchildren Lily, Kashton, La’Kaiya, and La’Riyah, mother Mary Troutman, brother-in-law Johnny (Tina) Moon, sisters-in-law Amy Moon and Teri (Barry) Williams, and his beloved German Shepard Chase. Rusty leaves behind a large, loving family and many special friends who he considered brothers. Pallbearers will be Omid Sohrab, Tyler Grisham, David Thomas, Brady Williams, Will Pack and Tyler Williams, with honorary pallbearer Kashton White, Dustin Troutman and Tony Bunch
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22, from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a service to follow. Friends and family will meet at on Wednesday, December 23, at 1:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel for a procession to Woodhaven Cemetery for a graveside service.
