Rubylee Fielden, age 89, passed away June 5, 2017. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Rubylee enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and quilting. She was an avid reader, especially of the bible, and loved spending time with the Lord in prayer. Preceded in death by husband, J.C. Fielden; parents, Herbert and Lucy Graves; brothers, Bud, J.C., Vincent, Elery and Harold Graves; sisters, Naomi Demarcus, Barbara Hutchison and Deane Pointer. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Michael and Neil Fielden; sisters, Carolyn Fielden, Charlotte Bell and Sharon Hale; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Rubylee’s niece, Jane Ford, for her usual unbelievable help and guidance, and to Katie Ward Carpenter and Kathy Ward Weaver. Floral tributes are welcome or memorial donations can be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 8pm, with Rev. Mike Keck and Rev. Jim Woods officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am, Saturday, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery for 11 am interment service, with Rev. Doug Fielden officiating.
