Ruby Rose Weaver

Ruby Rose Weaver affectionally known to many as “Mamaw Ruby" passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in Powell, Tennessee at the age of 88. She was lifelong member Highland View Missionary Baptist Church.

Ruby was born on September 30,1936 in Claiborne County Tennessee, Ruby was the second child born of ten to Walter and Gladys England.

Ruby was the beloved wife of the late Amos W. Weaver.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Amos W. Weaver; parents, Walter and Gladys England; brothers, Dan, Walter, Orvis, Carl, Earl, Matt, and Stoney; sister, Nona Hartness; great grandchild, Karter Headrick. Despite these losses, Ruby’s enduring spirit remained a source of strength for those around her.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy (Laurie) Weaver, Deborah (Kenny) Sexton, and Beverly (Roger) Bright; grandchildren, Kim Ferguson, Derek Weaver, Sarah Franklin, Kyler, Cody Headrick, Grace Headrick, and Carson Shelton; Great grandchildren, Keely, Dylan, Kamden, Korbin, Haley, Bryce, Laylah, Wyatt, Judson, Weston, and Madelyn; great, great grandchild, Hallie; sister, Dale Craig; sister in law, Brenda England and caregiver Alea McKinney.

Family will receive friends from 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel. Terry Walker officiating.

Family and friends will meet at Ft. Sumter Community Cemetery, Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 12:45pm for a 1:00pm interment service.

Pallbearers will be Derek, Kyler, Cody, Dylan, Bryce, Kamden. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wyatt, Korbin, Carson, Judson, and Weston.
