Roy William Ellison

Roy William Ellison, age 100, of Knoxville, passed away June 5, 2016. He was born February 5, 1916, in Union County, Tennessee and was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by wife, Margie Ellison; parents, Bert and Minta Ellison; and brothers, Johnnie and Theodore Ellison. Survived by daughter, Lavetta (Stuart) Hanlein; son, Leon (Carol) Ellison; grandchildren, Candy (Tim) Richards, Kent (Didi) Hanlein, Keith (Denise) Ellison, Brandon Ellison and Brent Ellison; great-grandchildren, Tyler Richards, Alexis Hanlein and Owen Ellison; and many nieces and nephews.
