Roy Lee Wallace

Roy Lee Wallace, 80, of Knoxville, was born on May 13, 1935, and went to be with his Lord on March 4, 2016. He was a charter member of West Haven Ministries. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Novella; stepson, Gary Davis; parents, Conda and Violet Wallace; and a sister, Lana Carol Ridenour. Roy is survived by a stepdaughter, Betty (Donald) Young; a brother, Kyle Allen (Billie Jean) Wallace; two sisters, Nancy Lou Wallace and Libby (Ronnie) Riggs; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews; and two very special friends who were more like daughters to him, Terrie Peck and Sherry Hodges. Roy had a quiet wisdom that was known and appreciated by all who were blessed to spend time with him. He will be missed by family and friends alike. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 8, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Wayne Lay. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday for a 1:00 p.m. interment. Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
