Roy Junior Dukes

Roy Dukes, age 80, of Halls, went home to be with The Lord October 13, 2013. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church where he taught numerous Sunday school classes. Preceded in death by daughter Kristie Newman. Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Betty; daughters and sons-in-law Pam and Terry Todd, Cathy and Blake Cleveland, and Jill Sparks; grandchildren Ian, Eric, Ethan, Payton, Cara, Laken, and Averi; siblings Nalda, Reba, Gene, Ilah, Judy, Brenda, Patty, and Freda. Service 8pm Monday at Salem Baptist Church, Rev. John Holland officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday 10:30am at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Ft. Sumter Community Cemetery for interment at 11am. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Monday at Salem Baptist Church. Announced by Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
