Roy Edward Mehaffey

Roy Edward Mehaffey, age 81 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, January 4, 2015. He was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Cordelia Mehaffey, first wife, Fern Bales Mehaffey; sister, Helen Stargel; and brother, J.D. Mehaffey. He will be missed by daughters and son-in-law, Anita and Danny Calloway, Belita Hoffmeister, and Robin Sexton; grandchildren, Freddie Parham, III, Bo Calloway, Nikki Sexton Estridge, Blair Calloway Lively, Sean Sexton, and Alexandria Sexton; great-grandchildren, Briley Mae and Ty Lively, Crew Calloway, Styles and Brooks Estridge; and former son-in-law, Ron Sexton. Special thanks to Carol Patterson for the many years of love and companionship. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Thursday at Bookwalter Cemetery for 2:00 pm graveside service, with Chris Tackett officiating. Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
