Rosie Lucille Mccroskey

Rosie Lucille McCroskey, age 98, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. She was born to the late Herman and Roxie Stooksberry. She enjoyed quilting, watching John Wayne movies, riding in a golfcart to view her many flowers and to visit neighbors. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her over the past seventeen months. Special thanks to Debbie Brown for patiently watching favorite westerns; for moving flowerpots here and there and for cooking 'taters and cornbread' any time she asked. Rosie is survived by her sister, Virley Trotter; three daughters, Fay Davenport, Janie Cardwell (David), Carolyn Irick (Hal); son, Ray Gallaher; grandson, B.J. McCroskey, and Susan Evans, one of many foster children she cared for. She enjoyed being a fifth generation grandmother to her numerous grandchildren and truly enjoyed each and every relative.
